Season's LoveWhen summer rolls into autumn,Season's Love by LadyAlias
And I watch the leaves fall.
I sit and think to be with you,
Would be my only world.
Then autumn turns to winter,
And comes the cold grey June.
My heart it aches for you,
Will you not come soon?
Then the spring is on the horizon,
And grey turns to blue.
Still I have no word from you,
Does another lady pleasure you?
The warmth of spring turns to summer once more,
Those lengthened summer days.
At long last you come to me,
My aching hearts renewed.
Mother Earth A nameless fearMother Earth by LadyAlias
a darkened hour
a nightly haunt.
A whispered word
a single tear
a tall lone tower
guarded by fear.
Mother Earth GoneWhen you think of the earth,Mother Earth Gone by LadyAlias
what do you see?
Do you see the land and sky,
and shades of blue and green?
or do you see this waste land,
This ground corrupted by human hands?
Mother nature was once so strong,
the ancient lands preserved in love.
Now we tear it down day by day,
until we find another land.
We dig her up,
and break her down.
After all its just water and ground.
If we kill what it is we have,
then what will our children have?
Concrete grass and swimming pools,
things that nature could were we not so cruel.
The green wild grass and pools,
these are the things I seek.
